​Justin Christopher Ayd is the film specialist and projectionist for the Walker Art Center. Previously, he spent thirteen years as assistant head projectionist at Willow Creek, a local mainstream movie house in Minneapolis, Minnesota — where he still assists with 70mm exclusives today.

​Simultaneously, he is a filmmaker interested in telling stories about the intimate and revealing complexities of human existence, both in narrative and documentary form. He is currently working with his wife and producing partner Jennifer Lillemo Ayd on a feature documentary about the residents of a small town in Northern Minnesota.
