The genesis of Forget What You Think You Know is rather unique. Back from 2009 to 2011 the Willow Creek Cinemas Twelve movie theatre ran a late night series of retro motion pictures. Sixteen Candles, Pulp Fiction, Die Hard, The Shining, Jurassic Park, etc. The list goes on. The titles for the retro series were selected by the fans of the series; conducted in theatre and with social media.
To drum up some suspense for the eventual reveal of the films playing during the summer of 2011, I decided to make an elaborate film based around the idea of "retro mythology", that the titles weren't just selected by fans, but by theatre itself.

June 2011 I put together a fairly detailed 'behind-the-scenes' blog. It discusses everything from genesis of story to blueprints of the sets.
